Jessica E. Oliver, M.D.

Dr. Jessica Oliver is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care and specializes in the medical and surgical management of cataract and glaucoma in adults. She has cared for NVOA patients since 2000.

She graduated magna cum laude from Wheaton College, earned her medical degree at Wake Forest University's Bowman Gray School of Medicine, and trained in ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She completed fellowship training in glaucoma at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and earned a Master of Public Health in public health ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins University.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Oliver has published research on outcomes in glaucoma and cataract care. Her international work has taken her to Kenya (Tenwek Hospital and Lighthouse for Christ), India (Aravind Eye Hospital), and Rwanda (Sonrise School).

She lives in the City of Falls Church with her husband and four daughters and enjoys travel, cooking, and Capitals hockey.
