Ha-Phuong Tran, O.D.

Dr. Ha-Phuong Tran has practiced optometry in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC since 1998 and has been part of the NVOA team since 2001, providing full eye exams along with diagnosis and treatment of many eye conditions.

She is recognized for therapeutic contact lens fittings for keratoconus, after eye surgery, and after eye injuries, and has fitted thousands of patients of all ages. Earlier in her career she fitted contact lenses for infants and children with congenital conditions and trauma at Children's National Medical Center, and she has lectured to optometrists and ophthalmology residents and fellows.

A University of Virginia biology graduate, Dr. Tran finished near the top of her class at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, with membership in two honor societies (Gold Key and Beta Sigma Kappa). She is licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, is a member of the American Optometric Association, and is fluent in Vietnamese. She grew up in Northern Virginia and enjoys photography, cooking, and family time.
