Anvesh K. Annadanam, M.D.

Dr. Anvesh Annadanam's fellowship-trained surgical practice centers on the cornea, cataracts, and vision correction. He performs corneal transplants (PKP, DSEK, and DMEK), laser and lens-based vision correction (LASIK, PRK, ICL, and refractive lens exchange), and routine and complex cataract surgery, and he provides comprehensive eye care.

He studied biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University and earned his medical degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. During residency at the University of Michigan's Kellogg Eye Center an award for trainee career development took him to Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai, India, to study how eye care is delivered at scale, and earned a Certificate in Global Health Equity. He completed fellowship training in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute.

His publications cover cornea and cataract surgical technique, social determinants of health in corneal disease, and artificial intelligence in surgical training, and he has presented at AAO, ARVO, and NANOS meetings. He enjoys travel with his family, trying new cuisines, and table tennis.
