Dr. Ellis brought more than two decades of expertise in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus and in ophthalmic plastic, orbital, and reconstructive surgery. Earlier, he spent 11 years as a co-director of the pediatric ophthalmology service at Cleveland's Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital and served on the Case Western Reserve University faculty, and he served on the editorial board of the Journal of AAPOS.
